Career Guidance Workshop for High School Students

ASGC, in partnership with YRDSB, brings you a career guidance workshop for high school students and parents.

This event will include separate sessions for students and parents.
The students’ session will feature a panel of young professionals, while the parents’ session will include school administrators, guidance counsellors, and other educators.
Students and parents will also have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions following the keynote speaker.

Students will be able to discuss with the panelist possible career pathways and various post secondary options. There will be an empahize to answer students questions by the panelist based on their educational and professional experinces.

Info: Students will be able to attend one of the following four sessions which will be running concurrently. Health & Life Sessions, Applied Sciences, Creative Arts & Social Sciences and Business Studies & Enterpreneurship. Parents will have a separate session at the same time.

Info: Same as the Session #1. Students will have a chance to attend a second session that is different from the one they attended in session #1

Info: All panelist will be available for a Q & A session. Attendees will be provided light lunch and refreshments.
