Experience the classical North Indian arts of Kathak dance and music in a fun, family-friendly, accessible environment!

About this Event


Concert Description

Join us at Flato Markham Theatre to experience the classical arts of Kathak dance and Tabla drumming originating from North India! Featuring interactive storytelling through Indian classical hand gestures known as mudras, the performance will display rhythmic complexity and dynamic movement language.

This adaptive music and dance performance is being presented in a fun, family-friendly, inclusive environment that embraces neurodiversity and disability. The performance will last one hour and provides accessibility supports for neurodivergent and disabled attendees. All ages and all expressions are welcome, so bring the whole family!
