The second half of Open Studios 2026: Two Big Weekends builds on the momentum of the first, offering a chance to revisit favourite studios, discover new ones, and catch up with artists you may have missed. It’s not an encore — it’s an expansion.
Weekend More reflects the heart of what Open Studios has always been about: access, openness, and genuine exchange. Artists are still working, still talking, still welcoming questions, and still sharing the realities of creative life. Some visitors plan their routes carefully; others stumble across studios by accident. Both approaches are encouraged.
Behind the scenes, this second weekend also completes something special for the artists themselves. With studios spread over two weekends, members of the Cluster finally get the chance to step out from behind their own doors and into each other’s spaces. It’s a rare pause in a usually hectic event — a chance to see, learn, and reconnect across disciplines and distances.
Weekend More rounds out the ultimate Open Studios experience: un-rushed, generous, and rooted in the places where this work is actually made.
