We are very excited to present a specialist seminar led by award-winning dog groomers and mums, Charlie Colby and Ellie Stanford.

Designed for dog groomers at all levels, this seminar is ideal if you’re just starting out or already working professionally.

Not only will this seminar bring you expert-led,  live grooming demonstrations for you to learn useful techniques to take back to your salon, it will also explore the realities of balancing home and work life as a mum, including the challenges of managing time, energy and expectations, while also prioritising mental health.

About the hosts: 

Both hosts are recent Finalists for ‘Groomer of the Year’ in the Animal Star Awards 2026.

Charlie Colby – Charlie Colby is the passionate owner and driving force behind Rockstar Dog Spa. With a keen eye for detail and 12 years industry experience, Charlie specialises in elevating Teddy Trims. In April 2026, Charlie was awarded 3rd place in the Pure Breed Open Class in the Big Spring Groom Out and in October 2025, won 1st place in the Intermediate Class at I’m a Groomer Get Me Out of Hair!

Ellie Stanford – Ellie Stanford is a talented pet stylist and the proud owner of Stanwell’s Pet Styling. As a dedicated member of the Mutneys Competition Team, she regularly showcases her techniques in competitive grooming shows among some of the industry’s best. She has recently been awarded 3rd place in Champion at The Welsh Grooming Show 2026, 1st place in the Poodle Toy & Miniature Open at Premier Groom 2025 and 1st place in the Place Toy & Miniature Poodle Open at The Grooming Show 2025, all whilst juggling being a mum of two children under 3 and the owner of 7 dogs.
