Bringing together local food, creativity, conversation and community, this collaborative event is being hosted by Newlyn Art Gallery, FIKA Café, Rising Embers Sauna and chef Danny Garland, for an afternoon inspired by the people, places and stories that make West Cornwall special ?

Newlyn Art Gallery are kindly opening free of charge from 15.00-18.00*, giving everyone the opportunity to explore their current exhibitions. Caroline Walker's exhibition, 'Mothering' is a must-see for parents. Tim Ridley’s exhibition in The Picture Room is also on view, and Tim will be talking about his work and answering questions from 15.00-16.00.

Outside, Danny Garland (former Head Chef at The Old Coastguard and Ottolenghi) will be firing up the grills, while FIKA will be serving drinks throughout the event ? Rising Embers Sauna will be hosting a family sauna session, and Nice Moon Events are bringing free children's activities and arts and crafts for all to enjoy ? It is advised that you bring children along in clothes you don't mind them getting mucky, and a change of clothes will be handy if they really love getting messy! ?

Whether you’d like to browse the exhibitions, meet some of the people featured in the summer issue, enjoy great food and drink, or simply spend time with friends and family, we’d love you to join us. Bring a picnic blanket, invite your friends, come and hang out!
