Fundamentals of the mare and foal

The Fundamentals of the Mare and Foal is the perfect preparation for your first stud season. This course will ensure you are ready to assess, treat and refer the late pregnant mare and foal.

To ensure you are ready to maximise the practical day, key lectures are delivered online covering theory and background knowledge. The in-person day then focuses entirely on practical sessions, case discussions, and hands-on learning in small groups.

Delivered by approachable and experienced stud vets, the course blends lectures, practical sessions, and real-world case discussions, ensuring you leave with the skills and strategies you need in practice.
