- **Event Description**: Join us for a fun  morning collecting native wildflower seeds to help transplant on lower quality grassland sites to increase wildlife.About this EventWildflower seed collectionWe will be collecting Devil's-bit Scabious (Succisa pratensis) from one of our rich wildflower meadows at Bosworth Country Park. With it's lilac-blue flower heads the species attracts a wide variety of butterflies and bees and is common in habitats such as old grassland, and sometimes in damp places, commons, heaths and marshes.The seed collected can then be used on donor grassland sites to help increase local wildlife value, using a locally sourced seed bank.Paper bags and snips will be provided, please dress appropriately for outdoor weather and terrain.
