Growing Poetry: Summertime Retreat
Do you love writing poetry? Want to immerse yourself in beautiful rural Lincolnshire, eat delicious home cooked meals (made from farm produce) and take time out of your normal schedule to play with words? Then we would love for you to join Growing Poetry's Winter Retreat at Ranby Hill Farm from the 5th to 8th July 2019.
"Ranby Hill Farm, an absolute haven of peace and tranquility, an ideal place of retreat! At every stage I have felt loved and cared for and that's down to the spirit of hospitality ever present in the hosts, Jessica and Luke"- Participant, Growing Poetry Winter Retreat 2019-
What can you expect to do whilst on retreat? Mainly led by Jessica Boatright you will take part in several poetry writing workshops (with the emphasis on creating new work) as well as meeting like-minded people and indulging in fabulous food prepared by our in-house chef Luke. Jessica will be joined by a guest poet who will lead an afternoon session and and an evening reading of their poetry. There will also be time in the schedule for you to explore the local area and work on the poems that you've started in workshops, as well as an informal sharing on the Sunday evening.
