- **Event Description**: Everyone knows someone who can’t find a place to live in Grey Highlands.  And there are many people who work right in Markdale, but are having trouble finding a place to live in the town they work and love. Now a solution is proposed by AHIGH Inc. (Affordable Housing in Grey Highlands), a community non-profit organization dedicated to providing affordable rental housing. AHIGH has made a successful bid for the old Centre Grey Hospital in Markdale, a nearly two-acre site that is ideally located for our mission. Now the real work begins.

AHIGH is developing plans for mixed-income housing overtop much-needed new retail spaces right on Main Street. It’s an ambitious project, but ambition is what’s needed to tackle a crisis that has been decades in the making. It can’t succeed without backing from our community.

With the support of Middle Grey Events, AHIGH invites you to join us at Annesley United Church on Thursday Jan 22 at 7PM, to learn more and see how people can support and advance this project!
