About the Author

Steven R. Southard grew up in Cedar Rapids and now writes science fiction. He’s the author of The Seastead Chronicles, tales of people moving to and living on the ocean. His short stories have appeared in over a dozen anthologies, most recently including Spring Into Scifi (2025), The Science Fiction Tarot, and Not Far from Roswell.
