Certified Peer Support Professional Training

DMHA is providing an in-person, 48-hour Certified Peer Support Professional. This in-person training will be held at the Ivy Tech Marion 261 S. Commerce Dr. Marion, IN. Whether you're looking to start a career in peer support or enhance your skills, this training is perfect for you. Learn from experienced professionals and gain the knowledge and tools needed to support others effectively.

This 48-hour training will be Monday August 17th through Wednesday, August 19th, 2026 in Room 164/165 AND Monday, August 24th through Wednesday, August 26th, 2026 Room 101/102. This training runs from 8:00am-4:00pm each day.

ALL days must be attended to be eligible for the certification. Lunch is on your own.

To qualify for the training individuals must

• Be 18 years of age or older

• Have personal lived experience of recovery from a mental health condition, substance use or problem gambling and/or

• Have personal lived experience assisting a family member with a mental health condition, substance use or problem gambling

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent*

• Must live or work in Indiana at least 51% of the time
