Are you going through a personal issue and looking to receive guidance or insight from the cards? You are also welcome! Our members offer FREE tarot and oracle readings during our meetings, on a first come, first serve basis. This is an opportunity for readers to practice and hone their tarot skills while also providing a community service to those in need of support.

What we are:

- a casual hangout to meet and chill with other card readers.
- a space to exchange ideas, practice readings, and learn from each other.
- a community service group that offers no-cost tarot and oracle card readings to the public.

What we are not:

- a religious or spiritual group. All faiths, beliefs, and practices are welcome. Our focus is on the cards.
- a lecture or a class. Our events are for learning and exploring ideas and techniques together. Everyone has their own wisdom to share.
- a place for dogma, judgement, or criticism of other tarot readers’ practices. Stand in your own truth, but please respect the truth of others.
- a place to earn money giving readings to clients. Any readings or services provided at our events must be free.

What Happens at Open Tarot Exchange?

This is a casual group where any of the following may occur:

- meet and connect with others who share your passion for the cards
- practice giving readings
- receive a free reading on a personal issue
- discussion about personal reading techniques, card interpretations, spreads, tarot philosophy, etc.
- simple tarot exercises
- deck show-and-tell
- test drive another person’s decks
- share favorite resources: books, blogs, podcasts, etc.
- ask questions about anything you may be struggling with in your practice

Do I have to stay for the entire event?

Nope. This is a drop-in group. Arrive when you want, stay as long as you like, leave when you are ready. No pressure.

What do I bring to Open Tarot Exchange?

Your enthusiasm and curiosity. Your decks if you have any. A paper and pen if you want to jot down notes. If you don’t have your own decks, no worries. We will have extras on hand that you can borrow.
