Justin Nobel
Justin Nobel has a master’s degree in both earth and environmental science and journalism. Award winning environmental journalist & author. His 2020 Rolling Stone Magazine story, “America's Radioactive Secret,” won an award for best narrative feature with the National Association of Science Writers and inspired his 2024 book, “Petroleum-238”.
Ted Auch
Ted Auch is a researcher at Fieldnotes, where he brings more than thirteen years of experience researching data and reporting gaps associated with the industry. Ted has a BS and PhD from the University of Vermont and pursued his MS at Virginia Tech.
John Stolz
John Stolz has a BS degree in biology and a PhD in microbial ecology and evolution. He is a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Duquesne University, and served as Director of the Center for Environmental Research and Education (2009-2024) and interim chair of the Department of Environmental and Energy Engineering in 2025. He has published 104 peer reviewed articles, 47 book chapters, and three books.
