- **Event Description**: Write a Haiku or another type of poetry for our Poetry Competition this Summer! Poetry Packs (including a journal, erasable pen, and information and prompts for writing poetry your way) can be picked up beginning on Tuesday, June 2, from 3 - 5 pm. Poetry Packs can be picked up anytime the library is open until Tuesday, July 21, while supplies last. Age groups are 6-10, 11-14, and 15-Adult.

There will be an Open Poetry SLAM for all ages on Tuesday, June 23, from 3 - 5 pm. Share your poetry and then submit it for the competition.

Poetry submissions will be accepted at any time, but all submissions for the competition are due by 7 pm on Tuesday, July 21. 

Winners will be announced on Tuesday, July 29.
