Entry Fee: $15
Prizes: Giga Bucks given to top Player(s). TBD based on player turnout. There also will be prizes for best Presented team TBD.
Rounds: 3 (Possible 4 rounds if enough players show and games are done in a timely manner)
Missions: Approved Ops 2024 missions. These will be pre-determined and revealed at the beginning of each round.
Maps: There will be a mix of Volkus, ITD and potentially some Octarius if extra boards are needed for the number of players. These maps will be pre-determined as well and I will try to ensure players play in a mix of both ITD and open maps.
Scoring: Score will be determined as laid out in the Approved Ops mission deck. Placements will be determined by Wins/Losses and tie breakers will be by Total VP scored. Please have the best coast parings app installed BEFORE arriving so you will be able to log your scores after each game.
Tools: Players will be expected to provide their K*ll team, equipment, dice, measuring tools, relevant rules references that are up to date with the latest balance data slate and FAQs, and Tac Ops cards. (If you require assistance providing any of these please reach out to me to discuss)
K*ll Team: Players are not required to have a fully painted team however it is strongly encouraged. There will be a small prize for best presentation team as well as the victor. It is also recommended you have operatives represented well enough where they are recognizable. If you have any proxies/kitbashes or anything you are concerned about let me know before the event and I will approve on a case by case basis.
Time: I would like us to START the games at 11AM so please be at the store and ready to start by that time. If you are running late please reach out to me as soon as possible. Each round will be 2 hours long, 15 mins to get set up and unpack your gear and introduce yourself then 1 hour 45mins to play 4 Turning Points. I will be calling out times as rounds come close to ending. Please do not rush your plays but be mindful of the clock. If your opponent is playing slowly to a detriment to your game let me know.
Judging: Judging will be performed off of Rules As Written as best we can interpret. If there is disagreement in the rules first attempt to settle between both players. If both agree on a ruling then continue as such. If an agreement cannot be made find me to assist. I will have final say on rulings if the rules are unclear in any situation.
