Our curated day events are designed to immerse you in the beauty of nature while igniting your creative spark.Join us for a relaxing coastal walk from Margate  to Ramsgate via Broadstairs and Botany Bay. Enjoy panoramic cliff-top views, classic seaside towns, and stunning sandy bays perfect for swimming along this gentle route.The walk will be led by Toni, she is a Mountain Training qualified Lowland Leader and is outdoor first aid trained.Start Location: Margate station (London babes: meet at Victoria for 8:20am to get the 8:40am train, we'll get a group save ticket saving 1/3 off)Finish Location: Ramsgate stationDate: Saturday 20th June 2026Meeting time: 10:30amStart time: 10:45am (approx.)Distance: 15km/9.3m (approx.)We will be taking it at a leisurely pace, with a break for lunch.Difficulty: Mainly surfaced paths and beach walking. Steps allow access to higher path at high tide. Some moderate slopes.Age: 18+Who is this for? This is an exclusive event for queer women, trans and non-binary people of colour. Refunds will not be given if you ignore this message.Please familiarise yourself with our Community AgreementCost: There is a sliding pay what you can cost for this event, as well as a pay it forward option for those in the community who can afford to give a bit more. If you're unable to attend because of cost, please reach out via email and we'll help. A 2020 report by Friends of the Earth found that nearly 40% of people from minority ethnic backgrounds in England live in the most green space-deprived neighbourhoods, compared with only 14% of white people — and that people from minority ethnic backgrounds are significantly less likely to spend time in the countryside than white people. We want to change this.
