He has a particular interest in the interconnectedness of the body to aspects such as voice (vocalising as a physical act) and environment, wherein body and surrounding objects share a protagonism, and the dance between them begins.Simon has lived and worked in cities near and far, including Bristol and Shanghai, and is now based in Margate. He has appeared in several works for Maresa von Stockert/Tilted Productions, and continues to collaborate with both Theatre-Rites and Luca Silvestrini's Protein Dance, as a dancer, puppeteer, actor, and singer. Other work includes Sleep No More Shanghai and The Drowned Man (Punchdrunk), The Little Match Girl and Ten Sorry Tales (Ballo Arthur Pita), Betrayal: A Polyphonic Crime Drama (I Fagiolini), Mucky Pup (Theatre Alibi), Benvenuto Cellini (Terry Gilliam/ENO).
