- **Event Description**: The longest night is upon us, and the Tom Thumb will be transformed into a dark ballroom as three of the South East's finest folk acts guide you through the turning of the year, as the sun is reborn and slowly begins its journey back to splendour.

 Nick Lawrence draws from the well of traditional and contemporary folk to compose his songs. His compositions evoke images of centuries gone by, be that wassailing in the winter, the re-telling of Viking raids in Kent, or spurned love.

 The Witchcraft & Vagrancy Act seek to unearth the sinister side of folk music. Wailing fiddles and 3-part harmonies encounter aching drones and electric guitars in an exploration of historical music and the macabre.

 Green Diesel blends traditional balladry with psychedelic and prog textures. Their hypnotic sound—violin, electric guitar, folklore-infused lyrics—has earned critical acclaim and UK Folk Top 40 success. With five albums and a captivating live presence, they’ve shared stages with the New Eves, Fotheringay, and more. 

 Mixed seated and standing to the rear of the theatre.
