- **Event Description**: Comedian and coach Rachel O’Connor presents a unique workshop combining comedy and mindfulness. Helping women to channel their inner Jester, boost confidence and ‘find their funny’.


Do you want to elevate your public speaking? Do you want to enhance your creativity? Do you want to inject more humour into your life?


Using skills derived from mindfulness and comedy, participants will learn how to take creative risks, become a bold communicator and use humour to elevate their speech. This session is for those looking for a fun, engaging experience where they can learn to ‘chase the joy;’ whilst boosting self-esteem and all-round sassiness!


Designed for women who might be curious about writing and performing comedy, those with a desire to enhance their communication in the workplace and social situations; or women who just want to speak up and take up space!


Tickets are limited to max 12 persons

Rachel is coach, psychotherapist and comedian from Hull, East Yorkshire. She is experienced in stand-up, clowning, improvised comedy and character comedy. She has trained with ‘The Free Association’ and is resident MC with Heyoka Comedy Club. Rachel was shortlisted for the Musical Comedy Awards, has featured in The Guardian and performed character and stand up comedy shows at a number of theatres and Fringe Festivals. Including Etcetera Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe, Pen Theatre and Leicester Comedy Festival.
