Our first hike this weekend will be a highlights stretch from Smith’s Beach to Wyadup Rocks! Here you’ll be greeted with ancient granite rocks which you will navigate up to be rewarded with stunning views over Canal Rocks and the Yallingup Aquarium. Our short hike will lead us to Wyadup rocks where the OTBT bus will be waiting to take you to check in at Margarets Beach Resort. You’ll enjoy some free time before we head to Margaret River Brewhouse for dinner. Day 2 – Saturday Fuel up with breakfast at The White Elephant before heading off the beaten track to hike the fantastic stretch between Ellensbrook and Prevelly at Gnarabup (12kms), including crossing Margaret River (by foot or kayak depending on water levels!). Today’s highlights include the historic Ellensbrook Homestead, Meekadarabee, Joey’s Nose, Kilcarnup Beach, Cape Mentelle and Horse Shoe Bay. We will provide you with a delicious morning tea and lunch to have out on the coastline. After hiking for the day, we’ll return to the Resort for a little R ‘n’ R. Tonight’s dinner will be enjoyed at The Common Bar & Bistro. Day 3 – Sunday After breakfast and checking out of our accommodation, we’ll hit the tracks for an awesome day hiking another highlight stretch of the Cape to Cape Track today, 8km in total, beginning at local surf spot Moses Rock and hiking through to Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs. After passing Moses Rock Campsite and crossing Wilyabrup Brook, you’ll climb up along the ridge line and through the melaleuca trees until you reach the star of the day – the Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs! We’ll take a short detour and head down to the base of the cliffs to admire these ancient craggy cliffs so you can appreciate just how impressive they are! A wonderfully constructed staircase then guides you up and onto the top of the stunning sea cliffs and offers amazing vistas for you to admire. After our hike we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or brewery before we head back to Perth feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the new week with plenty of amazing memories and stories to tell!
