Join us for The Art and Work of Wonder and explore why both matter. On August 13 we’ll visit Root and Sky Farm, a farm and wooded retreat in Northern Illinois.

Farmer and English professor Tiffany Eberle Kriner will lead an immersive experience that integrates ecological approaches to small-scale farming with a hands-on forestry and communal art project, followed by Christian contemplation and reflection. Together, through spiritual practices and communal labor, Tiffany will help participants think more deeply about colonizing species, immigration/migration, natural habitat, problem-solving, and relationships.

Our visit to Root and Sky Farm will also include a shared farm-to-table meal. This day-long event will take place outdoors, so be sure to dress appropriately. Carpooling is encouraged.
