It's free, it's open to all skill levels, t's fun, and cards don't even have to include calligraphy (although we hope they will!). Cards come from all over - no need to live in or near Marblehead, MA. If you make a holiday card, send one along to us. We number all entries and hang them in our shop window (and post them on our Facebook page). Anyone can vote on their favorite - either in person or through Facebook. The maker of the card that receives the most votes will receive a gift card to The Abbey Studio. Join the fun - don't be shy!A few specifics:Mail or drop off your physical card entry to be numbered and posted in our shop window for voting. Shop address is: The Abbey Studio, 84 Washington St., Marblehead, MA 01945 USA. Cards must be received by December 24, 2026.Cards will not be returned unless a stamped, self-addressed envelope is included.Cards can be prints (digital or otherwise) but they must be your original design. They can include photography, typography, lithography, multi-media, and of course calligraphy!Contest opens November 28 and closes December 24, 2026. The winner will be announced in our January newsletter.The Abbey Studio reserves the right not to include any card deemed inappropriate.
