- **Event Description**: SUN. 02/15/26 Kimmie Rhodes and JAM discuss the legends who once called the Hill Country home, including Willie Nelson, with whom Rhodes collaborated on West Texas Heaven, her critically acclaimed album, which featured duets with Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Townes Van Zandt. The event, free to the public, is held every third Sunday of the month, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brass Hall in Marble Falls. Sign up for the songwriters' open mic at 3:15 P.M. (or a tad earlier). The welcome and introductions will kick off at 4:00 P.M., followed by the podcast taping, then the songwriters' open mic. 

A primary goal of Songwriters Meetup is to celebrate the legends from the Marble Falls area, including Floyd Tillman, a CMA Hall of Fame inductee. Rhodes recorded Tillman's "Baby" on her Sun Studios project, Angels Get the Blues.
