WINTER ICE RINK FAQ
- What are the hours of operation?
The Winter Ice Rink is open nightly beginning on November 21st - January 3rd, during the weekdays from 5 PM - 10 PM and on weekends from 3 PM - 10 PM (Weather Permitting) with a few schedule adjustments on the days listed below:
- CLOSED Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 27th
- CLOSES EARLY on Christmas Eve - 8 PM, Wednesday, December 24th
- CLOSED Christmas Day- Thursday, December 25th
The Bumper Cars will run from November 21st through December 6th, Ice Skating from December 7th through January 3rd.
- Is there a discount night?
Yes! Join us for Cheap Skate Tuesdays and 'Bump' or Skate for only $7 (+ fees) with your advanced online purchase or $10 at the door!
- How do I find out about weather closures?
The Winter Ice Skating Rink can be unsafe with rain or high temperatures. If there is a weather delay, an announcement will be made at 3 PM the day of.

- What is the cost to ice skate/bumper cars?
Presale tickets* are $12.00, Day of tickets are $15.00
*Presale tickets end at midnight every day
- How to buy tickets?
Presale tickets are available online. Day of tickets can be purchased at the Winter Ice Rink ticket booth during opening hours. We strongly encourage everyone to purchase their tickets in advance! Space is limited and tickets typically move quick. Online sales end at 12 AM on the day of desired visit.
**Only Debit/Credit cards are accepted at the Door. Cash or check payments are not permitted.
- What do I do once I purchase my ticket?
Please bring your purchase confirmation email to the ticket booth at the Winter Ice Rink, and our friendly staff will give you a wristband for your selected time slot.
- What does my ticket price get me?
For ice skating: skates and one hour of fun are included in your ticket price!
For bumper cars: a minimum of 7 minutes on the ice but can be extended depending on amount of ticket holders present.
- Is there an age/height requirement?
There is no age requirement, but there is a shoe size requirement! The smallest is a child's size 5, and the largest is a men's size 12.
- Can I rent the Ice Skating Rink for a private party?
YES! Private parties are available on Saturdays and Sundays. You must book the party at least one week in advance. The private party costs $250 for residents and $350 for non-residents. A private party is good for up to 50 people for one hour of skate time. Please call (830) 798-6250 to book your private party!
- Can I bring my own skates?
Absolutely! Please keep the blade protectors on them until you are ready to skate.
- Are there any special nights at the Ice Rink?
Snow Nights are every Wednesday and Saturday! Bring your family out to experience skating as the snow falls around you!
