Veronica Hinke, local author of “Harry Potter: Afternoon Tea Magic: Official Snacks, Sips and Sweets Inspired by the Wizarding World” and “Harry Potter Sweets and Treats Cookbook” will present on the wizarding world potions by exploring the magical scenes of Harry Potter. We’ll discuss the potions featured in the movies, then, choosing from a list of herbs, spices, and other ingredients, each participant will design their own potion to make at home!

Additional activities include testing your knowledge in a Harry Potter trivia quiz and making a wand of your own! Veronica is a local author and culinary and lifestyles journalist, specializing in historical drinking, dining, and entertainment. She has authored other cookbooks and entertainment guides with recipes inspired by The Titanic, The Great Gatsby and the literary works of Edgar Allen Poe.
