Period Action Day is the moment when the movement comes together around a shared goal of donating 1 million period products and fund the work that keeps change moving all year long.

Red Basket Project of Jackson County is hosting a collection drive on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Moore Local from 10am to 3pm.

What are we needing:
- Tampons
- Individually wrapped pads, pantiliners, and sanitary wipes
- Cosmetic bags such as Clinique, Ipsy and Estee Lauder bags
- If you know how to sew, you can sew these bags for us to use for Period Packs. Learn how here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1s2KvlIDVw 

You can donate money as well at the event if you prefer and we will then buy what is needed to make our period packs.

What is a period pack?
A period pack includes tampons, pads, liners and sanitary wipes

The Red Basket Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and is 100% volunteer. Every penny donated goes directly to products.
