Hear about Sherman’s life and work from Michelle Turner with Limestone Bluffs RC&amp;D on Saturday, April 11 at 1:00 PM at the Hurstville Interpretive Center. 

Sherman published more than 70 articles in scientific and ornithological journals during her career. Additionally, her work as an illustrator inspired the Iowa General Assembly to adopt the American goldfinch as the Iowa State Bird.

Program is free and open to the public. Registration is requested.
