- **Event Description**: Having outdoor skills like knowing how to build a fire is important when you spend a lot of time outside. Learn basic fire safety tips and then have fun building a fire at a program on Friday, July 3 from 12:00-1:30 PM at the Hurstville Interpretive Center.  

This event has two parts. Come to one or both.

From 12:00-12:30, make and take your own fire starters using recycled and natural materials.

From 12:30-1:30 learn about different types of fires, different fire-starting materials, and then build your own. We will roast marshmallows over the fire too! Registration is not required.

Program is free and open to all ages. Family friendly event!
