REGISTRATION:
Entries on Register is still CLOSED and will start in November 2025.
You need to Inbox Rudi to enter the registration from November the 1st. first 100 Cars registered will be in. anything after will go on a standby system, where i will register in one vehicle on standby first on list to replace one Vehicle falling out.
DATES:
BUGS on SAFARI
starts 1st September 2026 leaving Durban up coast to St. lucia with 2 night in St. lucia and 1 night in Hluhluwe ending on the 4th September.
BUGS to MOZAM 3 nights will start on Friday the 4th September entering the Mozambique border at Kosi Bay (just 2 hours north of Hluhluwe) and finish on the Tuesday the 7th September.

"BUGS on SAFARI" 3 Nights
can be combined with doing
"BUGS to MOZAM" or could be done separately with either doing only BUGS on SAFARI or only
BUGS to MOZAM.
we recommend doing both, for Maximum Adventure, Best BUG Road Trip pleasure and shorter driving distances between

> Duration - 3 Nights Mozambique
> Destination - Ponta Do Ouro
Dates: 4th September to 7th.
ROUTE: VIA KOSI BAY BORDER to Ponta.
Highlights: Swim with Dolphins in the Wild, Beach Bar Hopping, Diving, Portuguese Cuisine, Experience Mozambique and Island atmosphere. All departure Mozambique monday the 7th September

3 Main Routes Traveling in Convoy to Mozambique
Route 1 (Orange Route)
Starting from GP on the 3rd September
EC, WC, NW, GP, FS, LP, MP to Ponta via Ermelo or Vryheid, Pongola to Kosi Bay direct
Route 2 (Blue Route):
STARTING 1ST September
EC, WC, FS, GP, NW, via DURBAN to JOIN KZN GREEN ROUTE and include BUGS on SAFARI
VIA ST.LUCIA, HLUHLUWE TO Ponta.
Route 3 (Green Route):
Durban to Ponta via Kosi Bay
Any Travelers from other regions that wish to Join the convoys will need to make arrangements to meet on Route or to leave your locations a day or two earlier to join in on the Blue, Orange or Green Route Plans to travel with larger groups to Mozambique

ACCOMMODATION:
We like everyone to enjoy the same location at the Heart of the Main Beach where our vehicles are all safe and together.
Busy working on a confirmed spot where options of Camping, Backpacking, Self Catering Units are all possible.
All Accommodation to be Paid directly at our Accommodation Hosts at own expense once confirmation of our location is confirmed.
LEGALITY for doing Main event Mozambique:
> You will need a valid Passport valid up the end of our September dates
> Children under 18 do need Passports and an Un-abridged Birth Certificates with permission letters from both Parents to cross border.
> Each Vehicle needs a Copy of its Natis in ownership of the Driver. If not the Driver, You will need Permission Letter stamp under oath from the owner with the Copy of the NATIS that you may cross the Border with it.
> Proof of Address and Booking at Location staying will need to be presented at Border
WORDS OF ENCOURAGMENT:
Your Classic Volkswagens can achieve a drive like this if well maintained and serviced. We will have parts and assistance with Independent Suppliers or Mechanical Services traveling with us (Fees Charged by them for Repairs or Parts). By traveling with our groups and convoys gives you ease at mind and buddies to help.
