Join us for Improv for Connection & Confidence, a fun, low-pressure workshop designed to help us connect, collaborate, and build confidence—no comedy skills or improv experience required.

Led by Kurt Braunohler, who has spent more than 27 years performing and teaching improvisation, this interactive workshop uses simple improv exercises to explore the skills that help us work better together, including:

Building trust and connection
Listening and responding in the moment
Communicating with confidence and authenticity
Thinking on your feet when the unexpected happens
Supporting the people around you
Embracing mistakes as opportunities
And, most importantly, having fun together!

And don't worry—you won't be asked to be funny. This isn't an improv class or a comedy workshop. Instead, we'll use the principles of improv—being present, staying open, listening actively, supporting others, and responding authentically—to strengthen the relationships and teamwork that make community theater so rewarding.

Whether you're an actor, director, musician, stage manager, designer, technician, front-of-house volunteer, board member, production team member, or simply someone who wants to be more connected to the Strollers community, you are welcome!
