Forum on School Integration in SOMA

The Community Coalition on Race will host a panel discussion at Columbia High School, School Integration in SOMA, providing the historical and educational context for the SOMA School District’s Intentional Integration Initiative (III), which is entering its fifth year. This event is open to the entire community, but it will be particularly informative for young families with students in elementary and preschool, and those who recently moved to SOMA. The evening’s program will include a keynote address by Dr. Amy Stuart Wells, Dean of Bank Street Graduate School of Education, on the academic, social, and other benefits of integrated schools for all students.
