About David Yates
David Yates is a musician, performance artist, movement teacher, counsellor, and facilitator. He has taught at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and Concordia University of Alberta and has recently performed at Lou Harrison House in Joshua Tree.
David began learning the didgeridoo in 2009 with his teacher Shine Edgar, who learned from elders of the Noongar people in Australia. His journey into sound healing deepened while working at Gandharva Loka, the world music store, where he began weaving a wide range of sound healing instruments into his offerings.
David now plays for sound journeys, meditation, dance, and yoga events throughout Vancouver and beyond, using instruments such as the didgeridoo, gong, handpan, native flute, sansula, and more. He is also a registered professional counsellor.

🧂 Post-Session Care (Important)
After time in the EESystem, we recommend a sea salt bath, foot soak, or salt scrub shower to support detox and integration.
✨ Sea salt is available in the studio for $25.
