Green Drinks! With Phoebe Jacobs (live!) & Tree Action Group presentation

Green Drinks is back, it's refreshingly cold and it's so excited to see you!

This Green Drinks will feature a presentation from the Cairns Tree Action group. Urban shade trees aren't just beautiful, they’re lifesavers. They cool our streets, protect wildlife, and make Cairns liveable as our climate becomes hotter each summer. CAFNEC’s Tree Action Group is standing up for nature-based solutions that protect both people and the planet — let's get amongst it!

We'll also have a live performance of original music from phenomena Phoebe Jacobs! Known for her expressive vocals and vibrant melisma, Phoebe Jacobs blends modern soul, cinematic pop, and emotional storytelling into a sound that is both raw and richly layered. Originally from Melbourne and now based in Cairns, Phoebe's music is carried by powerful vocal presence, dreamy harmonies, and unexpected shifts in melody and mood. Phoebe has shared the stage and collaborated with acclaimed artists including Moju, Hiatus Kaiyote, Tex Perkins, Ani DiFranco, Triple J Unearthed winner JK47 on I Am Here (Trust Me), and Cheshire on the soul-infused electronic single Hope. Her live shows are captivating and unpredictable— you're going to love her!

Come from 6pm for socialising after work, hear from our guest speakers at 6:30pm, live music 7pm til 8pm.

Cominos House (downstairs) is an accessible venue, entrance is free!
