Brynn Matthew's presentation: Eco-Activism Through the Decades - A Personal History

Brynn Mathews brings decades of experience of frontline campaigning for community and environment. In this special Green Drinks presentation Brynn will share a selection of his stories from a lifetime of standing up for people and the planet. For over 50 years Brynn has been involved in countless campaigns spanning forest protection in Lutruwita (Tasmania) in the 70s to nuclear disarmament in the UK, to over 30 years of living campaigning for climate action and protecting the FNQ natural environment. Drawing on decades of movement-building and hard-won lessons, he’ll reflect on what’s changed, what hasn’t, and why the fight for environmental and social justice still matters now more than ever.


Tegan Koster Project
Tegan Koster Project occupies a hyper-driven space between synth pop and the avant-garde. Her current live show dazzles with an array of vintage synths, drums machines and live instrumentation, all delivered with Tegan’s signature fun and quirky swagger. With a debut album in the pipeline and her synth lab 'Labrat' soon to launch, we can't wait to host Tegan's warm analogue tones!

The event will be upstairs in the CAFNEC Library and on the deck and will not be wheelchair accessible. Please contact Monique on getinvolved@cafnec.org.au if there is anything we can do to help accommodate your attendance. 

This event is family friendly and there will be food available and drinks by donation (cash and card welcome). Entry is free!
