# Event Details - **Event Name**: Taking Painters To The Next Level Workshop With Brad Price - **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 03 Feb, 2026 at 10:30 am – Tue, 03 Feb, 2026 at 01:00 pm - **Event Description**: Artist Brad Price will be teaching a weekly "Taking Painters To The Next Level" workshop from 10:30am to 1:00pm on Tuesdays at Dare Arts. This workshop was created to help artists take their painting skills to the next level. Participants will learn new skills and techniques while working on their own paintings. During this workshop, Brad will demonstrate how to develop a versatile and engaging style that relies on a heavy impressionistic brush stroke, and he will also help participants paint to their own natural ability while helping them find their own unique style. Brad will be there to be your personal coach to help you through the process, and to encourage you as an artist. These workshops are open to oil and acrylic painters (***If painting in acrylic, you need to bring your own supplies), and are designed to help artists of all levels improve their skillset. Discounted monthly bundles are available and strongly encouraged by instructor for artists to have consistency in building their skillset. Paints Brushes Palate: Paper or otherwise Canvas: 11 x 14 stretched canvas, or smaller. Paper towels Cup, glass, or jar for thinner Registration: Preregistration is required. Payment must be made in advance via credit card on the Dare Arts website at DareArts.org/workshops. You can also call the Dare Arts Gallery at 252 473 5558 and register over the phone. This workshop is limited to 15 students, and is open to adults 18+. Cancellation policy: Registrations cannot be transferred to future workshops. Bundles do not carry over month to month. No-shows will not receive a refund. If we are forced to reschedule/cancel a workshop for any reason, we will contact you directly about the new date or refund. Instructor Bio: Brad Price has called the Outer Banks home since 1991. Participation in a painting workshop in 2007 led him to discover his talent and passion for art, and he has been working as an artist ever since. Brad’s work, including oil paintings of light-filled beach scenes, landscapes, and animals, reflect his dynamic impressionistic style and expression-filled brush work. He continually expands his skills by working with other artists, and is a generous mentor to a group of artists of all levels.
