- **Event Description**: In July our Courtroom Gallery will feature oil paintings by Outer Banks artist Iryna Welch.
 
This exhibition "In My Mind" presents a sampling of topics in traditional realism style of oil painting. Iryna's work is inspired by the essence of beauty in all things. She is fascinated by how light bounces around this world, and believes light is the true subject of art. Through the body of work in this exhibition Iryna is driven to capture moments in time through the prism of her mind.

There will be an opening reception on Friday, July 11 from 6pm to 8pm, where visitors can meet Iryna and view her work. Please note the reception will be during the SECOND Friday festivities in downtown Manteo, and is free and open to the public. First Friday is rescheduled to Second Friday due to the holiday.​

In My Mind will be on display in the Courtroom Gallery July 4-26, 2025.
