Thread & Tranquillity: A Botanical Embroidery Workshop

Take a couple of hours out of your week to slow down, stitch, and unwind.

Join us at Mansfield Museum for a relaxed and welcoming embroidery workshop where we’ll create a beautiful seed heads and stems design using a variety of simple hand embroidery stitches. This session is perfect whether you’re completely new to embroidery or already have some stitching experience.

A botanical design will be pre-printed onto linen fabric for you, or you’re very welcome to draw your own design if you’d prefer something more personal.

Everyone works at their own pace, so you may not finish your piece during the session — but that’s absolutely fine. You’ll be able to take it home and continue stitching in your own time.

✨ All materials are provided, including fabric, threads, printed template and sewing equipment.
✨ Suitable for beginners and experienced stitchers alike.
✨ A calm, creative evening in a beautiful museum setting.

Spaces are limited, so booking is recommended.
