Frog Needle Felting Class

In this beginner's needle felting class you'll learn how to create a core shape, wrap it with roving, and begin basic needle felting. You'll then learn how to create round shapes for eyes, and techniques for adding whatever details you choose. Needle felting is an easy-to-learn technique and is not difficult. It just takes time and lots of poking with a barbed needle which tangles the fibers together, in order to shape and sculpt the natural fiber.

Skill Level

This is a beginner's level class.

Age Guidelines

This class is designed for participants ages 16 and older. Youth ages 12–15 are welcome to attend when registered with an adult companion who is also enrolled in the class.

Included in Fee

All materials are included in class fee, as well as felting tools and foam to work on in class.

Class Time

Class will begin at 1pm and finish about 3pm.
