By the end of the course, you will have developed a strong working knowledge of the photo-emulsion stencil process and the practical skills needed to continue printing and exposing screens independently.BioA multi-disciplinary social practice artist, their work spans printmaking, self-publishing, festival-making, street art, and play. They initially trained and worked as a primary school teacher before establishing their artistic practice in 2016. Their work centres on public participation, disability, and social inclusion, using creative practice to expand how people engage with art and the urban environment. Over the past nine years, they have led projects with people of all ages, collaborating with youth groups, disability service providers, and arts organisations. They are co-director of Pulled, a community print studio and visual artist workspace in Sligo, as well as Spilt Milk, a music and arts festival. With a strong interest in collective organisation within the creative sector, they have contributed to artist-led initiatives in the UK, Cork, and Sligo that activate vacant properties for community workshops, studios, and exhibitions spanning music, visual art, and film.
