- **Event Description**: Join Wildlands Trust for a relaxed and inspiring Community Plein Air Day at Davis-Douglas Farm in Plymouth! Artists of all skill levels and mediums are welcome to bring their supplies and capture the beauty of the landscape in the open air. Artists can come and go throughout the event and will have the opportunity to join a guided walking tour of the property* from 11 - 11:30 AM!

Registration is required for this free event to reserve your spot. In the event of a postponement, the rain date is Saturday, June 13, from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Parking:

Meet at Wildlands Trust’s Davis-Douglas Farm, 675 Long Pond Road, Plymouth, MA 02360. Parking is available along the gravel road. Overflow parking can line the road on the left side. Then walk up the gravel walkway to meet us inside the barn.

From Route 3: Take Exit 7 (old Exit 3) and head southwest on Clark Road. Turn left at the intersection onto Long Pond Road. Turn sharp right into Wildlands Trust’s headquarters at Davis-Douglas Farm. 

What to Wear & Bring:

Your preferred art supplies

Portable chair (metal folding chairs will be available to borrow)

Easel (if needed)

Water and snacks (light refreshments provided)

Sun protection (hat, SPF clothing, sunscreen)

Weather-appropriate clothing

If on the walking tour, please wear comfortable shoes*

Open-air creating in a scenic setting

Reserve your spot by RSVP’ing

Friendly, supportive atmosphere

Great opportunity to meet other local artists

Light refreshments will be provided

Access to restrooms and indoor shade to cool down

Leave No Trace:

To help keep our landscape clean and welcoming:

Please pack in and pack out all materials and trash

No dumping of paint, water, or solvents onsite or in barn sinks

Clean and dispose of materials properly at home

If incorporating physical natural materials in your art, please use items that are dead, downed, and detached!

Restrictions:

All ages are welcome

Maximum 50 attendees

Minimum 15 attendees

Programs are weather permitting. Cancellations and postponements due to weather will be announced online and registered attendees will be notified via email. In the event of a postponement, the rain date is Saturday, June 13, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
