Join Barry DeCristofano and the South Shore Astronomical Society for an engaging presentation that explores the science of celestial navigation, from ancient wayfinding techniques to modern astronomical insights. Discover how both birds and humans read the sky to find their way.

Following the talk, step outside with members of the SSAS as they set up a variety of telescopes for hands-on stargazing. Participants will enjoy stunning views of the Moon, planets, constellations, and deep-sky objects—bringing the science of navigation and astronomy to life under the night sky.
