Triple Dive - North Stradbroke Island - Advanced Open Water
Come dive with us!
All of our day trips are based on a minimum of 2 dives per day, however this is a TRIPLE DIVE DAY to make the most of South East Queenslands great dive sites!
Our Qualified Dive Supervisor on the day is a PADI Professional, who will run the day, and while may also be conducting various levels of course, they can always be approached for queries and assistance.
Not bringing a buddy with you? We will buddy you up with a similarly experienced diver aboard and offer you a chance to experience the dive in safety and with enjoyment. Please ensure the trip you sign up for is equivalent to your training & certification.
This day is specifically for Advanced Open Water Divers & above - please ensure your certification meets the requirements.
Brisbane ocean temperatures fluctuate quite a lot over the year. In the summer month some tougher divers are comfortable in a rash tee and shorts! It can reach up to 24-26 degrees (Centigrade).
In winter, Flat Rock out east can catch some cold currents and can drop to 17 C degrees to keep the Grey Nurse Sharks from overheating! We recommend at the minimum a 3mm steamer in summer and 5mm in winter – 7mm for those divers sensitive to cold.
As we are restricted by sea and surface conditions, we cannot guarantee exact dive sites until close (24-48hrs out) to the dive day. We do try and give a locale however, especially when we are hosting an ‘Advanced’ Diver Day – or tidally affected sites such as Curtin Artificial Reef.
All trips are shown as available to book online for the next upcoming 1-2 months with 2 standard price structures. After making your booking, we will confirm by sending your invoice along with an itinerary with maps and directions to the meeting times to ensure you feel briefed for the day.
1 – Charter only – we anticipate you will be bringing everything with you and only need us to provide you with space aboard.
$210 - Triple Dive with no gear needed
2 – Tanks & Weights – we will provide you with cylinders for the dives, and weight belts (webbing) with 21lbs of lead. Our cylinders are 11.1L aluminium Catalinas. Occasionally if we are running a dive trip further afield with another company’s boat, we may opt to use their cylinders, rather than take ours, which may mean another size/type is used.
$245 - Triple Dive with tanks & weights required
Need more gear than this?
You can opt for more equipment hire on the booking page - HOWEVER - We have LIMITED equipment available for hire. Get in early so you don't miss out!
Our rental suits are 5mm, so if you are hiring and think you might be a bit cold, a thermal undergarment –hooded vest or shirt may be a good investment for you. If you are hiring our wetsuit for your day trip, please arrive a little earlier to try on some suits to ensure the best fit.
