Too often in modern times our grief becomes private, carrying an invisible mantle of shame forcing our sorrow underground, hidden from the eyes that would offer healing. We need to restore the conversation we need about the place of mourning in our lives. Each of us must undertake a learning with loss.” Francis Weller
  
In this service, we will explore the gates, multicultural rituals, and creative expressions of grief. With imbolc representing what we are planting in this coming year, an intention in this worship service will be to recognize the value in not only experiencing the relief of expressing our grief with others, and the space it creates in our hearts; We will also honor grief's rich possibility of deeply connecting us and enriching the soil we sow these seeds upon, inviting authentic expression that leads to more vibrancy, beauty, aliveness, and resilience.
