- **Event Description**: This event hosted by the MSU Women's Center on Wednesday, February 25th from 5-7pm in the CSU Felxible Learning Space will be a community discussion to discuss and interact with activities based in understanding how society shapes ideals and what it means to navigate around beauty standards.

This is an important event as "studies show that individuals aged 13-25 struggle the most with body image and the mean-average of stabilizing thoughts about body image happens by age 24 for men and women. All genders, men, women, transgender and gender non-conforming folks, can and do experience negative body image; although, people assigned female at birth tend to have higher rates of negative body image (Lacroix et al., 2023).

Therefore, its important to have conversation and dialogue on this topic which affects many individuals. Please attend and RSVP through MavCentral and you have an option of picking up a ticket at the Women's Center as well! Invite your friends and there will be food provided :)
