Shelltrack 2025 is staying true to its down-home, good time, beer and root beer drinking, grassroots ethos. As always, we're holding the relay at Silver Creek Park on the shores of Lake Michigan in Manitowoc.
NEW THIS YEAR: We'll be offering a root beer shortcut for kids and those N/A drinkers.
How it'll go down: you can race Shelltrack as an individual or create a team of 2-4 riders. All relay teams, or you crazy individuals, have 3 hours of racing. Everyone must race on a fat bike. That means a tire width of at least 3.8”. Prizes will be given to the overall top three teams and the overall top three individuals.
Everyone must register individually whether you’re riding alone or on a team.
Everyone is responsible for recording their own laps and that will be done with good ole pen and paper. Rules are pretty simple.
The race starts at noon. Race it or simply ride it. You win either way. Remember to practice race etiquette. If you have a rider coming up to pass you, move to the right and let them pass. If you want to pass another rider, let them know you’re coming and will be passing on the left. We want this to be a safe and fun event.
