Join a team of professional paranormal investigators aboard the 94 year old railroad carferry S.S. City of Milwaukee, for a rare public event - one night only. Every spring, GRASPP holds a private investigation on the S.S. City of Milwaukee for a full weekend. Their team of around two dozen come from all corners of Michigan, and the Midwest, bringing different experiences, opinions, equipment, and techniques. One of their favorite cases has been the City of Milwaukee, and now they're inviting you to take part! The City of Milwaukee is a railroad carferry, built in 1931 for the Grand Trunk Railroad. She ferried railcars, automobiles, and passengers between Milwaukee, WI, and Muskegon, MI, until 1978, when she was leased to the Ann Arbor Railroad operating out of Elberta/Frankfort, MI. She operated like this until being fully retired in 1982. In 1984, she became a museum ship, later being moved to Manistee, MI, in 2000. Over the years, she has had thousands of crew members, a captain suffer a fatal stroke onboard, other crew members pass away, and a plethora of reported paranormal activity. It's needless to say that the GRASPP team has gathered evidence - and they're always gathering more. As stated on their website, (graspp.info) "At GRASPP Beyond, we are committed to advancing scientific research and discovery in the field of paranormal research. Our goal is to help others understand paranormal activity as we search for answers to the unknown. Not everything paranormal is scary, usually, it's just misunderstood. With over 19 years researching the paranormal, we have learned a few things about paranormal events and we enjoy helping others find their answers." The folks at GRASPP are focused on finding the truth, because of this, they provide a very hands-on, engaging experience for everyone attending. You will NOT just be a spectator - unless you'd like to be. There are 17 rooms available for rent onboard the City of Milwaukee, all located on the Passenger Deck.
