This meaningful rite of passage marks our students’ formal welcome into the noble profession of nursing — symbolized by the lighting of the Nursing Lamp, which embodies the light of knowledge, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the call of care. 💗

One of the most significant highlights of this celebration is the Imposition of Caps and Pins by the Members of the Nursing Faculty — a symbolic act of passing on the knowledge, values, and proud tradition of Escolarian Nursing to the next generation. This gesture signifies the students’ formal acceptance into the nursing profession and their commitment to uphold the noble ideals it represents. 🌟
This year’s celebration is made even more momentous as it forms part of the 50th Golden Anniversary of the CEU School of Nursing. The Capping and Pinning Ceremony stands as one of the first milestone events under the “Pagtatakda” (Setting the Course) phase of the year-long Golden Celebration — a stage dedicated to instilling in our students a sense of purpose, responsibility, and commitment as they embark on their journey to become Escolarian nurses.
