- **Event Description**: On January 6, 2026 ,Join @batalanewyork for @elmuseo del Barrio’s 48th Annual Three Kings Day Parade for our 48th Annual Three Kings Day Parade—a beloved East Harlem tradition that transforms the neighborhood into a joyful procession of music, movement, and magic!

This beloved, free celebration brings together families, artists, and neighbors from across New York City to honor a legacy of joy and resilience. The parade will be hosted by “La Reina del Barrio,” Rhina Valentin  and will step off at 106th Street and Park Avenue, travel east to Third Avenue, and continue north to its grand finale at 115th Street and Park Avenue. Along the way, the neighborhood will burst to life with vibrant rhythms, dazzling floats, majestic camels, music by Aurora & Zon del Barrio, BombaYo , Annette A Aguilar  & StringBeans, and the spirited energy of thousands of schoolchildren, dancers, and community members 

This year’s theme, Pa’lante, Siempre Pa’lante! (“Forward, Always Forward!”), pays tribute to the legacy of the Young Lords—their unwavering cultural resistance, deep-rooted solidarity, and commitment to mutual care that continue to shape the heart and soul of El Barrio

Our 2026 Three Kings are Deputy Speaker Diana Ayala; Eddie Palmieri, artist, who will be represented in his honor by Gabby Palmieri; and Jonathan Inoa, Anchor Reporter at Univision. Our King Emeritus is Jesús “Papoleto” Meléndez 

We will also celebrate our madrinas and padrinos—Johanna Fernández, Leenda Bonilla, Lillian Jimenez, Maritza Carmona, Michael Paul Britto, Nelson Matthew Gonzalez, Reverend Dorlimar Lebron Malavé, Tony Martinez, Vagabond, and Wally Edgecomb—honoring their visionary leadership and enduring contributions to our community.
