Objectives Preservation & Unity: Bring together Cordilleran and Igorot organizations across the United States to strengthen community ties and collectively protect cultural practices within the diaspora, while also inviting other Indigenous, First Nations, and Aboriginal communities to join in preserving our cultures through the performance of traditional music and song. Intergenerational Transmission: Implement a youth-focused presentation competition to encourage young people to actively study, engage with, and perpetuate Cordilleran culture. Cultural Sharing: Provide a high-quality platform for the exhibition of Cordilleran music, dance, crafts, and heritage to a diverse, external audience. Artistic Excellence: Facilitate the preparation and presentation of impactful cultural performances by participating organizations.
