During the colder months, BikeWalkMHK hosts an Unbook Club: a low-stakes book club where reading is optional. There is no homework and no pressure. We gather to discuss big ideas related to our mission of advancing more equitable transportation options in Manhattan, KS. Winner of the Green Prize for Sustainable Literature, Walkable City is one of the most influential urban planning books of the past decade. The updated edition includes new chapters on housing equity, COVID, ride-hailing, autonomous vehicles, urban forestry, and more.
